Interior Designer’s Notes

A young couple with small children, all under the age of 5, is ready for a more comfortable lifestyle. They are busy with life. They do not have the time to go from store to store with children in tow, selecting furniture for their home. They are looking forward to working with a source that can handle all aspects of design. Meetings take place in their home while children run free with a nanny, they don’t have to travel and can concentrate on design decisions that are presented to them. 

They own older, hand-me-down furniture that looks worn, and is also uncomfortable. Cozy, plush surfaces are a must, little heads should be protected from crashing into hard corners of furniture pieces. Fabrics should hold up to wear and tear, allowing for kids’ sticky fingers and beloved pets’ muddy paws. Painted surfaces should also be durable, as tiny handprints often have to be washed off the walls. The parents are excited to make a change for a better functioning, kid-friendly home with lots of warmth and character.
